On november 21, 2012, a landowner reported a smell associated with piepline odorant. Spectra energy personnel discovered natural gas from algonquin 6-inch line e-1 was bubbling up in stony brook which is less than one foot deep. A pinhole leak in the circumferential weld of the pipe was discovered. Replacement of the pipe was completed on november 25, 2012.
