Narrative
On july 4th, 2012 at approximately 2330 hrs the fort scott, ks city water department was digging to make repairs on a broken water main. While digging with located facilities, they hit a kgs 4" pe gas main that was operating at 10oz. The damage put a 2" by 3" hole in the main and the water from the broken water main began to fill the main due to the water pressure being greater than the main pressure. This resulted in the disruption of service to some 200 customers in a several block area. The water removal began the morning of july 5th and continued until all customers were restored to service by late evening on july 10th.

Narrative
On july 4th, 2012 at approximately 2330 hrs the fort scott, ks city water department was digging to make repairs on a broken water main.
