Narrative
We were requested to respond to a fully engulfed house fire by mille lacs county. Found riser on fire because the plastic on the anodeless riser melted due to the house fire. Gas service to the address had been shut off at the customer's request on march 17, 2004. Centerpoint energery removed the meter due to inactivity and the house being boarded up on october 13, 2005.

There was no active gas service to the home. The gas meter had been removed and the riser locked. The assistant fire chief stated that there was a report of a minor native american running from the scene between 6:00 am and 6:30 am. Additionally, our fire investigator was requested to leave the scene of the incident.
