A small vapor cloud was reported by a vehicle driver driving southbound on interstate 29 near the pipeline. A magellan technician confirmed a release from a one-inch blowdown valve at the bottom of a valve body on the underside of a pig trap. The valve was capped and tightened and the leak stoped. The impacted soil was excavated, sampled, characterized and appropriately disposed of in accordance with state and local guidelines.
