At approximately 4:00 pm on september 16, 2010, buckeye personnel, while patrolling the right of way near martinsville, il, discovered product dripping from a body bleed valve on a mainline block valve. The buckeye personnel contained the release and emergency response procedures were initiated. The pipeline was shut down, the body bleed valve was replaced, and the contaminated soil was cleaned up. The valve was monitored during pipeline restart to verify its integrity. There is no further remediation required at this site.
