Narrative
Vacherie pump station in louisiana was being blown down to perform scheduled maintenance. The operator began sending nh3 to the burn box (knock-out pot) for ignition through the flare system. Approximately 45 minutes later nh3 was observed originating from a crack in the burn box. A welder was called to the site to weld the crack and blow-down of the station resumed. Updated part a with new address and e5f per PHMSA request.
