Police reported vehicle at 401 beaver st (arcross the street from 1428 center st.) was left running in driveway, rolled across street and hit meter and riser (front of house), causing blowing gas. Fire dept called conusmers energy and reported gas meter hit/blowing. The fire dept did not indicate on original emergency order about fire or explosion. Fire dept performed precautionary evacuation of residents upon their arrival. Per fire dept approximately 3 minutes after house was evacuated, house exploded and fire at meter. Supervisor dan ruble arrived onsite at 07:40 and requested a crew. Crew dug up gas main across the street and squeezed off 4" plastic- medium pressure main, interrupting gas service to 19 customers.
