Narrative
A small leak was detected on east tennessee natural gas line 3200-1 during a routine instrumented leak survey. The leak originated at the pipe weld seam. The leaking pipe was removed and a metallurgical analysis was performed. The metallurgical analysis determined the leak was the result of lack of fusion in the pipe weld seam.
